As most of you know we used to have a crew list which was replaced with the crew register we have now.
I am happy to say it has been working well. We had over 50 persons sailing with us and some have become permanents and members.
In an attempt to get more boats to race with us on the Sundays (Championship or Pointscore races) I am now starting a "Racing Crew Register".
Skippers who would like to enter a race from time to time but lack the crew to do so please let me know in advance and I will send you a list of the people interested in crewing.
Skippers who do not want to enter their own boat but would not mind crewing on an other boat please let me know and I will put you on the list to be sent to skippers looking for crew.
Crew members who are now sailing in Wags and/or Sags, if you would like to come racing on the occasional Sunday please let me know also and I will also put you on the crew list.
When this list is established you will of course be able to opt in or out as you please. You can also list the racing dates you are or are not interested in. As long as there is sufficient notice to organize things. The racing calendar is about to be broadcast by the PRO (as far as I understand)
The first race is coming Sunday. Not much time I know but we'll see what happens.
Hope to hear from you racing enthusiasts soon,
Cheers,

The MBYC conducts a SAGS race every Saturday afternoon and a WAGS race every second Wednesday afternoon.
The Nominal start time of those races is 1pm.
If you wish to participate and/or experience a race on one of our members' boats you are invited to come to our club on the day of the race and write your name in the crew register (near the doors to the deck or/and ask our friendly staff) by 12 midday at the latest.
Skippers looking for crew or just willing to take you along can look in the register to see if anyone is waiting and offer you a ride.
When you step on board please remember that the skipper will be responsible for the safety of the boat and all people on board so please follow his/her directions at all times.
You can do this as often as you like and with as many different boat as are willing to take you.
We are looking forward to seeing you on the water.
