Bexbrook Results

Thanks to all those who took the time to dress up, get Involved and participate in this years Gilligans Island Bexbrook Classic. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did organizing it.

Curtis From Bexbrook Computers has been a long time sponsor of this event so if you see him please make sure you say thank you!

Congratulations go to Black Diamond on winning the overall prize  Even if they did get some help from Mr Google.(Dam Multi hulls) Parody congratulations go to Steve Goforit  North for a great solo parody that included the boat  names most of the fleet and to the tune of Gilligans Island. (that was last year Steve when we needed to include all  the names) But with the performances again being the highlight of the day Dave Meatybites was happy to spend Curtis’s money to present each parody writer with a bottle of wine.

(for those who weren’t there Therese "Real Thing" Marty even pulled out her banjo for the performance.)

Overall crew prize went to OD Nick seemed to find all the castaways and smuggle them on board.

Other individual prizes were awarded to Gilligan, Ginger, Maryanne, Mrs & Mrs Howell, Professor, and Skipper well done to those people because I am not even going to try to remember who got what.

For next year Hopefully more sailors will involved in dressing up and having a laugh.  So if next years committee are happy for me to organize the event again I will be happy to do it. There are a few ideas already running around in my

head. and a hint would be to start practicing  your favorite musical instrument or vocal chords!
