Saturday 6 October 2007.

The venue will be Lucinda Bay, Moreton Is. and it will commence late afternoon.  The precise location will be the 'Hav-a-chat' tree.

These occasions are also sometimes used as a beach clean up.  That is generally coordinated by MBBC member John Hall (Stormy).  The BBQ follows the clean up.  bring a couple of suitable garbage bags.

These BBQs are BYO everything and take away everything you bring.

Overnight stays are not obligatory but are encouraged.

Potential participants please advise by return email.

19/12/07 - Christmas Cruise

Due to the usual cruising yachts from both MBBC and the MBBCSB being a little unsure as to their committment over the Xmas break, the cruise will again be a somewhat informal affair.  Two MBBC yachts are planning to head for the Canaipa Passage on Boxing Day.  These are Pleasant Task and Aquarius.  A third, Page III  is planning to leave on 28/12/07 to meet up with those yachts.  The other regular cruisers are either away, sold their yachts or are otherwise committed.  All MBBCSB yachts are invited to trek South with the initial 2 yachts or join later.  Anchorages chosen and "meet & greet" sessions will be communicated via VHF 77.  It is anticipated that the small group will be in the greater Moreton Bay to greet the New Year.  All movements and destinations will be weather dependent.

21/01/08 - Australia Day Cruise

The Australia Day cruise will (weather permitting) be to Moreton Is.  The destination will be either the Sandhills or Lucinda Bay.  Some MBBC cruising yachts are going to the Sandhills while Moonshine (Allan McClintock) has invited all to Lucinda Bay.  Please check via VHF77 on the day to discover where others have chosen as a destination.
